SmoothZAP Module

SmoothZap is a new mail security module available for the SmoothWall family of software firewall solutions.  It can be installed and integrated with the SmoothWall Corporate Firewall or Advanced Firewall products.

Once SmoothZap is loaded onto the designated SmoothWall server, the firewall system can then provide perimeter defense to all unwanted company email.

Using proven open source detection technology, SmoothZap scans all incoming and outgoing mail for viruses and other dangerous content. The vast majority of spam messages are rejected at the gateway. Only emails deemed “clean” are then passed on to the company mail server for handling.
